A new, safer section of the Guild Wheel has opened for public use.

The route cuts out part of Haighton Green Lane leading on to D’Urton Lane, which can be tricky to navigate if there is traffic.

People on the Guild Wheel are now able to walk on a new footpath built on a patch of field.

The update does not affect the mileage of the wheel at all, which many Guild Wheel fans will be happy to know.
