Man taken to hospital in serious condition following Bamber Bridge crash

The crash occurred on Station Road

A man in his 20s has been seriously injured following a crash involving a van and a cyclist.

Two ambulances, an air ambulance and a rapid response vehicle all attended the scene of the collision.

Update: Police have confirmed a 20-year-old man died following the collision

The accident occurred on Station Road in Bamber Bridge outside the Morrisons.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “We got a call at 12:59 reporting an RTC involving a van and a cyclist.

“Two ambulances, air ambulance, and rapid response vehicle all attended the scene.

“We’ve taken a man in his 20s to hospital by road in a serious condition.”
