Fire crews from Preston and Bamber Bridge were called to an incident on Bleasdale Street East in Deepdale to reports of an explosion.
The incident occurred at around 10:40am on Tuesday (16 February).
Firefighters arrived to find some structural damage to the property and one casualty.

The firefighters administered first aid before paramedics arrived.
The casualty has since been transferred to hospital for treatment.
Crews isolated the utilities to the property and ensured there were no further casualties involved.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue services have released a statement saying they are in attendance alongside partners and a building inspection is underway to assess the stability of the property.
Firefighters from Preston, Bamber Bridge, Urban Search and Rescue and an aerial appliance from Preston are currently still in attendance.
