Planning applications for 200 new flats to be built in the former Bhailok Court building are set to be decided next week.
Preston City Council will sit to discuss and decide on whether the application will be approved on Tuesday 2 March.
Submitted by the Heaton Group, the original plans stated that there would be 109 one-bedroom apartments and 67 two-bedroom apartments.
However, the latest plans for the Pole Street development show that there will be 137 one-bedroom flats, 40 two-bedroom and 23 three-bedroom.
The building is proposed to be between seven to 16 storeys high, with four office spaces on the lower floor and associated parking, landscaping and amenity space.
On the top floor there will be a roof terrace for residents to utilise.
On the ground floor there will be a communal resident’s lounge, a gym, a refuse storage area, bicycle storage and plant room.
