A planning application has been submitted seeking approval for 139 new dwellings in Ribbleton.
The former hospital site plans are looking for access from Miller Road and Sandycroft.
The access point from Sandycroft will only serve 35 dwellings whilst Miller Road will be used by the rest.

There will be a variety of detached, semi-detached and terraced buildings.
It is thought that at least 30 percent of the development will be made up of affordable housing, equalling about 42 houses.
However, all dwellings could be affordable.

The houses are due to use a variety of bricks, giving most houses a different appearance.
There are also plans for a mixtures of one, two, three and four bedroom houses and a three-storey block of one and two bedroom apartments.
The apartment block is thought to include 32 two bed apartments and 29 one bed apartments.
All windows are planned to be double glazed.
The agent for the plans is PWA Planning and is updated from previous proposals in 2019.
