Following the government advice to limit non-essential travel, Stagecoach has made temporary changes to its bus services in South Lancashire.

This means a reduced timetable will operate across the region until further notice.

The timetables have been carefully created to ensure that critical routes are maintained wherever possible.

As a result, the bus services in Lancashire will generally operate as follows:.

  • On weekdays, they will mostly operate a Saturday timetable, but with additional early morning buses on some routes where needed
  • On Saturdays and Sundays they will continue to operate our usual timetables, with the exception of service 125, which will operate a reduced 20 minute frequency on Saturdays between Bolton and the Royal Preston Hospital
  • Some services will continue to operate unchanged: 24A, 118, 119, 315 and Edge Hill Link
  • Preston Park & Ride (Walton-le-Dale) will be temporarily suspended from 9th January until further notice
  • Services into Preston or Blackpool from the north (40/41/42) are operated by Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancs, so please check on their service updates for the latest timetable information on those services.
