Preston awakes to snow as the Met Office warn of more icy conditions

Many areas across Preston have seen a light coating of snow this morning

This morning (Monday, 25 January) Preston has woken up to another layer of snow.

The Met Office still have a yellow weather warning in place for icy conditions.

This morning is set to be cold and frosty during with wintry showers.

Lingering freezing fog may be slow to clear.

It’s set to rain during the afternoon, and cloud will clear to make way for brighter spells.

Sleet or wet snow is possible this evening.
