At 9:39am on Wednesday, 20 January, eight fire engines from Fulwood, Preston, Penwortham, Leyland, Wesham, Chorley, Longridge and Blackpool, and an aerial ladder platform from Blackburn, attended a fire at a commercial building located on Tabley Lane, Higher Bartle, Cottam.

The fire impacted an industrial unit approximately 60m x 20m in size.
