Heavy rain warning issued for Preston and Lancashire for Thursday

A yellow weather warning for rain has been put in place across Preston for Thursday, 28 January.

These downfalls are likely to cause minor transport disruptions and some flooding.

People are being warned that journey times may take longer due to spray on roads.

The warning is in place for the whole of Thursday, but the rain is likely to subside by Friday, 29 January.
