An Ashton-on-Ribble-based interiors retailer is celebrating after doubling its turnover in 2020.

Luxus Design says the growth is largely down to its Just Radiators brand, which had its official launch early in 2020.

Set up in 2018, Luxus Design saw an opportunity to diversify during the pandemic.

Director Dave O’Keefe said: “Our ecommerce website for the Just Radiators brand enabled us to take the positives from the circumstances and capitalise on the boom in home improvements during lockdown.

“With people spending so much time at home and using refunded or unused holiday money to invest in their homes, even traditionally quiet months exploded last year.”

Dave believes the company’s reinvestment into the business is the second key factor in its successful year.

He added: “We invested in our online presence through effective digital marketing as well as offline marketing and PR. Vast investment has seen us develop the website functionality – both frontend and backend – whilst making sure we have the right team in-house to provide the best customer care. We made sure our staff received efficient training and focused on employee wellbeing. 

“All of this allowed us to put ourselves in prime position to offer customers exactly what they were looking for. It’s humbling to have been able to grow our business during this challenging time and we’re looking forward to continuing to build upon this success into 2021 and beyond – watch this space!”
