Detectives investigating the death of Nigel Scott have charged two people with murder.
Officers were called by the ambulance service at 10.05am on Sunday (27 December) to reports a man had been found unconscious on the pavement in Clarendon Road East in Blackburn.
58-year-old Nigel Andrew Scott, from Preston, was taken to hospital with serious head injuries but sadly died on 28 December.

Following enquiries and after consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service two people were charged last night with Mr Scott’s murder.
Daniel Butler, 32, of Walker Street, Preston and Marina Westlund, 26, of Clarendon Road East, Blackburn, are due to appear before Blackburn Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday 31 December)
Detectives are continuing to appeal for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
