Royal Preston Hospital gave their first Covid-19 vaccination this morning at 7:20am.
The vaccines are currently being rolled out in various locations across the country.
81-year-old Doreen McKeown, a volunteer at the hospital, was the first in the region to receive the vaccine.
The hospital are ‘so proud’ to be able to vaccinate her against the virus as she has given so much to them as a volunteer.

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is one of 50 NHS trusts to administer the first batch of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
