Councillor Peter Kelly, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure at Preston City Council, said: “After the success of the first Stream to the Street we’re pleased to be returning with some festive joy in aid of a fantastic charity.

“Music has a way of bringing people together and allowing us to escape the stresses of life, which have been many this year.

“As a city council it’s a pleasure to support events like this and the brilliant cultural scene we have in Preston.”

Sarah Hanson, the Event Promoter behind Stream to the Street, said: “It’s been both an honour and a real treat for me to put these events on.

“Live music is so important to us all and I decided much earlier in the year that Coronavirus wouldn’t stop us enjoying it!

“We have so much musical talent and some great music venues in Preston, I could put on 10 more of these and still not utilise everyone… So watch this space.”
