Power cut affecting properties in PR3 area

A power cut is affecting properties in the PR3 area.

Engineers began working to resolve the issue after the power cut was reported early this morning (Saturday 19 December).

In total 358 properties have been affected in the area, which covers the likes of Longridge and Garstang.

According to updates from Electricity North West, power had been restored to 203 properties by 9.40am, with a further 78 back up and running by 10.40am.

The remaining 77 properties are expected to have power restored by 1pm.

A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: “Thanks for bearing with us, we know it’s a pain but we won’t stop until it’s back on.”

Anyone affected can call 105 for assistance.
