Pop up Christmas bar comes to Preston city centre

A pop up Christmas bar has launched in Preston city centre complete with snowfall and a giant Santa.

Opened today (Saturday 5 December) by the team behind The Winter Lodge in Friargate, The Winter Lodge Pop Up is located outside Baluga Bar and Club.

A spokesperson for The Winter Lodge Pop Up said: “Our giant, jolly, waving Santa Claus welcomes shoppers, city centre walkers, families, and those just looking for an escape from a cooped up lockdown, for some festive food and drink this December.

“All of your Winter Lodge favourites are available to takeaway including our mulled wine, imported German beers, luxury hot chocolate, jumbo hotdogs, warm Christmas market Belgian waffles, giant salted pretzels and more.”

Covid-19 safety measures are in place to help prevent the spread of the virus, including queue markers, complimentary hand sanitiser, regular cleaning and contactless payments.
