Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a woman missing from Preston.

Xiaolin Wang, 39, was last seen in the Ring Way area of the city at 9am on Friday 4 December.

Xiaolin is a Chinese female who is very short in height.

Police do not have a further description of Xiaolin at this time, or information about what she was last seen wearing.

PC Lee Tickle said: “We are very concerned for Xiaolin’s welfare and would ask anybody who sees her or has any information about her whereabouts to contact police straight away.

“We don’t know if she has any friends or relatives in the UK that she may have gone to stay with, or if she has simply gone out for a walk and become lost.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Xiaolin, if she sees this, to contact police to let us know she is okay.”

Anyone with information is asked to email or call police on 101, quoting log 0659 of December 5, 2020.
