Police catch suspected burglar twice in 24-hours after Deepdale break-in

A suspected burglar has been arrested for a second time in 24-hours.

Preston Police were called to reports of a break-in at a property in St Christopher’s Road in Deepdale.

Officers arrived around 8.45pm on Thursday (3 December) and arrested a 41-year-old man at the scene.

When he was taken into custody police said it was discovered he had been arrested on suspicion of burglary on Wednesday (2 December) and released on bail.

He has been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, criminal damage, going equipped and possession of an offensive weapon and remains in custody.
