Eight fire engines and two aerial ladder platforms were used on the fire on Navigation Way, Ashton-on-Ribble.

Firefighters were using two jets to bring the fire under control and spent most of the night on the scene to extinguish the fire.

Crews were still on the scene when the pictures were taken this afternoon.

The police have been called to assist with the investigation and no injuries have been reported.
