New drone footage shows progress on new road scheme Pic: Facebook page

The Preston Western Distributor Facebook page have shared new drone footage of the projects progress.

Bird’s eye view footage shows the new road, set to be finished in 2023.

The £200million road scheme will see Preston and southern Fylde linked to the M55 motorway.

You can watch the footage below

Plans include a new motorway junction, four new bridges and three underpasses and two new roads will connect new and existing housing areas of North West Preston and Cottam.
