The desire for a new challenge has prompted the launch of a new Preston-based IT support company.

In what has been a challenging year for small business, Jason Hodson saw an opportunity to provide support for companies looking to use technology to thrive beyond the Covid-19 pandemic.

Jason founded Kevid Consulting and, despite many challenges, the new service has been met with interest from several businesses.

Jason said: “The pandemic has changed the way we do business and as we start to emerge from lockdown, we’re going to see businesses lean on technology to provide solutions.

“2020 has seen the world change. Customers are doing more of their shopping online, businesses are holding meetings remotely, and employees are warming to the opportunity to work from home.

“Many businesses don’t even realise the tools that they may already have to assist them in working more efficiently.”

Kevid Consulting is offering free 30-minute consultations to SMEs in Lancashire throughout January.
