A sleety end to the week in Preston as weekend forecast looks drier but cold

December has got off to a wet start as Preston is hit with sleety weather at the end of the week,

The wet weather is set to continue on for the rest of the day and night, with temperatures staying low.

But it’s bad news for anyone hoping for a proper snow covering this week as the weekend is looking drier.

The Preston forecast shows clouds and some light rain on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will also be slightly warmer.
