A community cookalong is being held to combat the lockdown blues.
AdvertisementThe event will see up to 250 Preston households provided with free meal kits to make four portions of Lancashire hotpot each.
Ruby Henderson from organisers The Larder said: “By getting everyone involved in cooking a local dish we’re hoping to bring a sense of community during the second lockdown.
“We’re aiming to promote and support local businesses, as all the ingredients we’re providing will come from within a 30 mile radius.
“Offering people the meal kits for free is also our way of saying thank you to the local community.”
Each household will also receive four portions of pumpkin soup when they sign up to the event.
