Police seize two knives and cannabis during Preston stop and search

Two knives have been taken off the streets of Preston by police.

Preston Police recovered the knives during stop and searches on Friday (27 November).

Officers also recovered a quantity of cannabis during the searches.

The knife founds come after a major operation by police in Lancashire to clampdown on knife crime.

During Operation Edge more than 350 knives were either handed in or seized during the week-long activity by police.
