Police say three men wanted after violent attack in Lancaster have links to Preston

Three men wanted in connection with an attack on a woman in Lancaster have links to Preston.

Lancashire Police have released pictures and details following the attack where a woman was slashed in the face with a knife and beaten with a bat.

The attack took place on Friday 6 November in Longlands Road, Lancashire, around 9.50pm.

Police say Paul Harrison, 38, Michael Dempsey, 32 and Jason Corless, 39 are wanted in connection with the attack.

Harrison, of Marine Road East, is white, 5’11”, stocky and with mousey brown hair.

Dempsey, of Langdale Road, Lancaster, is white, 5’11”, slim and with short light-brown hair. He has a tattoo on his neck which says ‘Fighting Solves Everything’.

Corless, of Langdale Place, Lancaster, is white, 5’11”, slim and has receding brown hair.

Lancashire Police say the men have links to Preston, Blackburn, Haslingden, Blackpool, Kendal and Morecambe.

They are described as violent and should not be approached.

Detective Chief Inspector Alisa Wilson said: “These men are wanted in connection with a serious assault where a woman was attacked with a knife and bat.

“These individuals are being treated as dangerous and should not be approached in any circumstances.

“If you see them please call us immediately providing information and a description of their clothing.

“Furthermore I would appeal directly to these men to come forward and contact us.”
