Frosty weather is fast approaching as a yellow weather warning has been placed on Preston, South Ribble and the rest of Lancashire from 8pm tonight (Thursday 26) to 12pm tomorrow (Friday 27.)

The Met Office issued warning says fog and freezing fog patches are expected to develop on Thursday night, with some of these becoming dense in places with very poor visibility.

Fog is expected to be slow to clear during Friday and may last through the day.

Preston and South Ribble residents should expect some travel disruption, including slower travel times and delays to public transport.
