Man with links to Preston wanted after woman punched and strangled

Freddie Broadbent is wanted by police

A man with links to Preston is wanted by police in connection with a serious assault in Blackpool.

Police want to speak to Freddie Broadbent, 24, after a woman was punched and strangled on 14 September, suffering severe bruising.

Broadbent is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of medium to large build with ginger hair and blue eyes. 

He has links to Preston, Blackpool and Lancaster.

Police are appealing for information about Broadbent and urging anyone who sees him not to approach him.

PC Chloe Banks, of Blackpool Police, said: “Broadbent is wanted by police in connection with a serious assault.

“If you know where he is please come forward with information.

“Do not approach him but please provide details of his location and clothing.”
