To celebrate Lancashire Day today (November 27), the Lancashire day plane flew over Preston and South Ribble.
Lancashire day is an annual event, started in 1996, to commemorate the day in 1295 when Lancashire first sent representatives to Parliament, to attend the Model Parliament of King Edward I.
The plane has been doing the rounds over Lancashire and would have been over Preston this morning at around 12pm.
People on social media sites have also been taking the opportunity to name their favourite local Lancashire businesses and share pictures of what they believe to be iconic sites in the county.
Did you see the plane flying over? We would love to see your pictures, you can send them to us at contactus@blogpreston.co.uk.
