Japanese rock garden in Avenham Park temporarily closed due to dead trees

Part of Avenham Park is temporarily closed off.

The closure is as a result of three dead trees being removed from the rock garden.

Whilst the work is ongoing the garden will be closed off with tape.

However, other sections of Avenham Park are still open for the public to visit.

An official re-opening date has not yet been announced.

Preston City Council also tweeted to remind the public to keep space between others.
