Deepdale Road reopens after woman falls from bridge

A woman has been treated for arm injuries after falling from a bridge in Deepdale.

Preston Police shut Deepdale Road – at the Miley Tunnel – shortly after 3pm on Friday (27 November).

Emergency services blocked the road between Burrow Road and Porter Street turns.

A police spokesman confirmed a woman had fallen from the bridge onto the disused railway lines.

Preston Police had been called due to a concern for safety.
