A bike store in Preston is appealing for information after burglars attempted to break into the store.
GhostBikes in Mercer Street, Fishwick have released CCTV on their facebook page of a group of people arriving by car at the gates of the store in the early hours on Tuesday 10 November.
The footage shows a car pull up to the gates and the group start to damage the gate to gain access.
When the alarm starts to go off, the group leave before being able to take anything.
A statement from GhostBikes on Facebook said: “We had an attempted break in attempt in the early hours on Tuesday, the guys came prepared with a chain saw but it seemed were deterred when the alarm came on (you can hear them in one of the videos)
“Luckily they only damaged the gate this time, but we would really like them caught before they try attempting again as a couple of years ago a lot of stock was stolen.”
