South Ribble Borough Council are looking for feedback on a new logo.
Designers have put a modern twist on the crest, which was a favourite amongst residents when posted on Facebook.

The Lancashire rose has been simplified to fit in with the graphics of the greenery and river. A darker blue font has been used and the outline of the shield has been softened to make it look less like a club badge.
South Ribble Borough Council also addressed comments about them redesigning the logo during the coronavirus pandemic, saying: “Our response to the pandemic remains our top priority and we can modernise the logo without affecting that work.

“And the vast majority of changes will be done digitally or on a replacement only basis so costs will be kept to a minimum.
“There is already budget allocated for this so it won’t affect the support available to residents or businesses or all the other projects we are on with delivering.”
