The Royal British Legion poppy appeal stall is returning to Preston Markets this weekend.
AdvertisementPoppies, wreaths, badges and more will be on sale at Preston Markets between Saturday, 24 October and Saturday, 7 November, from 9:30am-3:30pm each day.

The stall, run by the Royal British Legion, raises money for the armed forces community.
Mayor of Preston, Councillor David Borrow said: “I am delighted we are able to host the Royal British Legion poppy stall for another year at Preston Markets.
“Even during these challenging times we need to continue to donate to this charity, which supports the armed forces community.
“Don’t forget while visiting Preston Markets to shop or buy your poppy to stay safe, adhere to the social distancing measures in place and wear a mask for everyone’s safety.”

Russell Hodson, Member of the Royal British Legion said: “I would like to thank The Mayor and Preston Markets for hosting the poppy appeal stall again.
“We are grateful to be allowed to sell the poppies in theses current circumstances and the extra safety measures in place at the Market Hall ensures the safety of customers and our volunteers own safety while raising money for this great cause.”
