Many of the baubles have a very Covid-19 theme

John Rose is selling his hand-made baubles to raise money for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

John’s mother was cared for by Rosemere and John wants to say thank you by donating 50p of each bauble to them.

The baubles are customisable and are selling for £3 with a delivery charge of £2, regardless of quantity.

340 baubles have already been sold with £60 raised.

John’s mother passed away at the start of lockdown due to cancer.

She received help and treatment from Rosemere as they tried to ease the pain.

Woodworker John said: “My mum was the most wonderful woman anyone could have met, she did absolutely everything for everyone else and always did her best.

“Rosemere did their best for my mum to have a comfortable last few days.

“All she wanted was to feel comfortable and Rosemere accomplished that for her.”

John also had huge success selling garden bars during lockdown.

He has used the profits to buy a CO2 laser so he can create the custom baubles.
