Lancashire Police are appealing for information after a parked car was hit with a firearm on Monday night.
AdvertisementThe incident occurred at around 8.35pm on October 12 in Ashton-on-Ribble.

A white saloon car was driving along Ashton Bank Way when a shot was fired from the vehicle.
They hit a parked black Fiat 500. The white car then fled the area.

DI George Binns from Preston Police said: “We believe that the attack was targeted and is related to an on-going dispute between two groups of people.
“However, the offender(s) have ended up causing damage to an unrelated vehicle. Thankfully no one was injured.
“We need anyone who saw or heard what happened to come forward.
“Similarly, if you saw the white car involved in the area around the time of the incident, we need to speak to you.”

A 35-year-old man from Preston was arrested on Tuesday, 13 October on suspicion of possession of firearms offences.
He has since been bailed pending further enquiries until 10 November.
