Police alert for Longton after cars and properties targeted by burglars

South Ribble police have posted on Facebook warning people of a rise in burglaries and vehicle crimes in Longton.


The police have received multiple reports in the last few days.

Officers in the area have a targeted patrol plan to deter and prevent further crimes.

South Ribble police are asking for the public to lock their cars, doors and windows and to remain vigilant .

Please report to the police if you have any CCTV evidence of anything suspicious.

Call the police on 101 for non emergencies or 999 if urgent.
