Hot Potato Tram returns to Preston Flag Market in tribute to Keith Roberts

The Hot Potato Tram returned back to the Flag Market today (Tuesday 13 October) in tribute to Keith Roberts.

The tram was reunited with Keith at 11am as the funeral cortège arrived.

Keith, who ran The Hot Potato Tram passed away in September from cancer at the age of 43.

The tram was hugely popular with Prestonians and hundreds of tributes flooded in after Keith’s death.

The father-of-four served famous spuds and parched peas from the tram.

Keith attended Corpus Christi R.C. High School and went onto follow his father who was Preston’s original ‘spud man’.
