A yellow weather warning has been issued for Lancashire on Halloween weekend- so, thankfully, any bumps in the night might just be the wind.
AdvertisementStarting at midnight on Saturday (31 October) and continuing through until 9pm, the Met Office warns of heavy rain.
The bad weather will then continue on at Sunday (1 November) from 9am and go through until midnight.

The periods of heavy flooding could lead to flooding and disruption of public transport and travel.
Yellow weather warnings are also in place for Thursday and Friday this week, so it is looking to be a miserable few days for Preston and South Ribble.
