Cyclist injured in Walton-le-Dale collision

A cyclist has been injured in a collision with a car in Walton-le-Dale.

Emergency services were called to the incident in Duddle Lane near Selkirk Drive just after 3.15pm today (Sunday 25 October).

A spokesperson for Preston Police confirmed the cyclist had sustained a head injury after being knocked from their bike, but said their current condition is not known.

The road was closed by the emergency services until just before 5pm.
