Police are appealing for information about a burglary in Preston during Tuesday (14 October) evening.

Police were called to reports of a burglary at 23:45 at Mountain Warehouse on Fishergate in Preston.
Two male suspects gained entry to the store by ripping a hole in the bottom of the boarded up entrance and attempted to steal shirts and jackets.

However, a member of the public spotted and chased them. Whilst being chased, the suspects dropped the clothing which has been collected and returned to the owner.

Preston Police said: “We would like to say thank you to the member of the public who bravely tried to apprehend the fleeing suspects.”
