It was announced earlier this year that Cop Lane in Penwortham would be the home of a new Tesco Supermarket.
Work on the new building started in August and these new aerial photos, taken by Aerial Video TV, show the fast progress being made.
The store will have red brickwork, a glass curtain wall and grey cladding and a self-service petrol station will be close to the main entrance off Liverpool Road.
It’s location is near the boundary with Penwortham Girls’ High School and a new pedestrian linkway to Alcester Avenue will be created.
There will also be a slope for pedestrian access off Cop Lane, eight electric car charging spaces and 2.4m high palisade fencing.
