24 Muscovy ducklings and their mother believed to have been stolen from Treales

Police say 24 ducklings and their mother were taken from a village on the outskirts of Preston.

The family of Muscovy ducks were taken from the Treales area.

Fylde Police say the 25 animals were taken between 6.45pm on Monday 19 October and 9am on Tuesday 20 October.

A police spokesperson said: “It appears unlikely that the ducks were taken by a predator.

“We recognise the devastating impact that crime has on the rural community both financially and emotionally.”
