A spokesperson for Stagecoach said: “Early September we had a number of incidents where bricks were thrown at buses in the evenings on Fishergate Hill.
“These incidents were reported to the police and we worked in partnership to try and stop this.
“To ensure the safety of passengers and staff services were diverted from Fishergate Hill for a period of time during evening hours. Services are now operating the normal regular route.”
