New flyover film shows how work is getting on for the Preston Western Distributor road scheme

The Preston Western Distributor Facebook page have shared a new perspective of the project’s progress.


The bird’s eye view video shows the new road which is due to be finished early 2023.

Preston and southern Fylde will be linked to the M55 motorway through the major road scheme which is due to cost £200million.

Plans include a new motorway junction, four new bridges and three underpasses.

There will be two new roads that will connect new and existing housing areas of North West Preston and Cottam.
