Lesley Young-Ewen had her head shaved for Rosemere

Theatre nurse Lesley Young-Ewen’s lockdown proved a hair-raising experience.

Lesley, 57, who works at Fulwood Hall Hospital, had her head shaved to raise £1,125 plus £150 in Gift Aid for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, which she presented to the charity’s fundraising co-ordinator Julie Hesmondhalgh.

Lesley was inspired to cut her locks after she began working with more cancer patients.
