Diners can enjoy half price food at restaurants across Preston and South Ribble this month as part of the government’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme.
The scheme aims to help businesses who have been hard hit during the Covid-19 pandemic.
It gives customers up to 50 per cent off their meals when they dine at any participating restaurant, bar or cafe on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday throughout August.

The discount applies to food and soft drinks only, so you’ll have to pay full price for any alcohol you order, and any service charges.
You can ‘help out’ as many times as you like during August, and restaurants will be fully reimbursed by the Government for the money you save.
Booking is advised, and diners should check with their chosen restaurant for details of its opening days and times before making a visit.
Places involved in the scheme include We Don’t Give a Fork, Lime Bar, The Ginger Bistro, and many more.
