An acoustic duo from Preston are hosting a virtual gig this Saturday (August 29) to help raise money for a little girl with Down’s Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.
Bonnie-Lyn Cushnagan was born 13 weeks early, weighing just 3.5lbs, and underwent bowel surgery when she was just three days old.

She was transferred to a specialist neonatal care unit, and stopped breathing four times in the first eight months of her life.
At nine months old Bonnie was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, which may result from the complications she had at birth – although doctors are unable to say for sure.
The duo, Ryan and Craig, decided to host the gig after reading about Bonnie on Blog Preston and wanted to help the family raise enough money to access medical treatment that isn’t available on the NHS.
Ryan Hamilton, said: “We would usually put a bucket out or something at gigs to try and get people to donate to good causes but due to the current situation we have decided to do an online gig.
“Hopefully people will want to come and join us, enjoy the music and chuck us a quid or two to help a fantastic cause.”

The gig will be available to view via the duo’s Facebook page from 8pm on Saturday 29 August.
