CCTV appeal after elderly man robbed in broad daylight in Ribbleton

Police have released CCTV of three youths they want to speak to following a robbery in Moor Nook.
At around 4:40pm on August 4 an elderly man was subjected to a violent robbery in Pope Lane.

Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident however police now want to identify the young men pictured as they continue the investigation.

A police spokesperson said: “CWe believe that these people captured may have information that is relevant to our investigation and if they see this appeal, we would ask them to get in touch.

“We are also appealing to the public if they have any information regarding this incident or they witnessed anything suspicious around the time and date to get in touch.

“This has been a truly horrific ordeal for the Victim which has taken place in broad day light and we are determined to apprehend those involved and bring justice for the victim.”
