A white BMW was involved in a road pursuit on the M6 yesterday (Thursday 6 August).

The car with two occupants destroyed a bridge before crashing into the Lancaster Canal at Forton.

On a post on Twitter, Lancashire Road Police said: “This vehicle was involved in a pursuit on the M6 motorway yesterday.

“The 2 occupants managed to destroy a bridge before crashing into the canal at Forton.”
