Between 2am and 10am this morning (Thursday July 23) his car was broken into in St George’s Road and a number of items of clothing and personal possessions were stolen.

Cade said: “There were other things, including some expensive colour blind glasses, but I really want the medal back. It has a lot of sentimental value.”

The medal, awarded to Cade for carrying out active service in Afghanistan, is in a black box with a gold crown on it.

Anyone with information about the medal is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log reference LC-20200723-0377.
