Motorists, pedestrians and cyclists using the area around the development of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) Student Centre are being advised of road closures over the coming weeks.
Junction improvement works will be carried out including the installation of new traffic signals at the intersection of Adelphi street and Victoria street.

Work will start on Monday (July 6) and is expected to continue until the end of August, with Adelphi street closed and diversions in place.
During the work, motorists are advised to use the official diversion routes via Harrington Street and Moor Lane.

The highways scheme complements the University’s £60 million Student Centre and new civic square, a key part of its £200 million Campus Masterplan.
